
Annette Cyr – President
Annette is the founder and principal consultant of Cyr & Associates and specializes in assisting organisations in strategic planning, compensation and pay equity, the creation of leading-edge rewards and recognition programs, performance management design and competency development. As an innovative executive business and HR consultant, Annette has led projects involving corporate mergers and reorganisations, job design and analysis, performance management and team development in multi-national retail, financial services, food services, utilities, logistics, not-for-profit, and healthcare sectors.
Fully experienced and formally trained in organisational development, change management, executive coaching, strategic planning and compensation management, she is well known for integrity, organisation, business knowledge, as well as creative and innovative problem-solving.
Annette was the Vice President of Human Resources for a major retail company and has held senior level positions in financial and food services industries in Canada and the United States prior to establishing her consulting practice. She completed her M.B.A. and received her Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation as well as the Chartered Director designation (C.Dir) from the Director’s College. She has taught courses in Compensation and Human Resources at York University, and is the past Chair of the Board for Burlington Hydro Electric Inc.
In 2012, Annette was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal for voluntary service to Canada and the community. She founded and is currently the Chair of the Board for Melanoma Canada, a national charity dedicated to prevention and elimination of skin cancers and melanoma.
Paula Lytwyn – Senior Consultant
Paula Lytwyn brings a wide range of experience to client projects including but not limited to executive search, human resources and general management advisory services. She held several progressively more responsible senior Human Resources positions within public and private sector organizations prior to launching her own consulting practice. Paula began her career in the Ontario Public Service (OPS) providing recruitment support and human resources advisory assistance to leaders at all levels and then moved to private sector - a consumer-packaged goods company, to offer HR advisory services before she created her own HR consulting practice in 1991 – Lytwyn Resources Inc. Through the cross-section of roles she held in the public and private sectors, Paula undertook activities such as resourcing including providing a variety of recruitment and assessment tools/services, project managing large-scale (100+ vacancies) recruitment drives, compensation and benefits administration guidance, organizational reviews and design, job description preparation and job evaluation, performance management coaching, training program design and delivery, learning strategy development, talent management and succession planning, executive coaching, collective agreement negotiations, grievance administration, employee/labour relations advisory services, etc.
Through her consulting practice, Paula offers clients a unique blend of strong strategic and tactical delivery skills with a dedicated focus on quality and timely service. In addition, her combination of experience in public, not-for-profit, associations and private organizations across many sectors, brings clients a wider breadth of knowledge, expertise and solutions to projects. The range of her experience includes but is not limited to executive search, coaching, facilitation, assessment services, training program design and delivery, performance management coaching, employee and labour relations support, recruitment and resourcing, organizational development and effectiveness, succession management and organization design & evaluation, human resource planning, conflict management, Board and employee survey analysis.
Paula has a proven track record and brings extensive experience and qualifications to Executive Search projects including certification with a range of psychometric assessment tools including Assess, Thomas International and TTI Talent Insights.
Paula has assisted public, private, and not-for-profit numerous organizations in search and staffing positions such CEO, CAO, Assistant Deputy Ministers, CISO, Deans, Professors, Executive Directors, Directors, Managers, specialist/technical roles.
Paula also has a B.A. in Business Administration from York University, Toronto and has taken the majority of courses towards a Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) at the University of Toronto.
She worked successfully with Cyr & Associates on a variety of HR consulting projects for the past ten (10) years.

Janice M. Dusek
RN, BSN, MS, MBA, CHE
Janice is a Registered Nurse, who holds a Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University, as well as a Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has over 35 years of experience in health care, education, not for profit and the public sector. She has led strategic plan development for many hospitals, academic health science organizations and community agencies across Ontario. Her consulting experience is supported by many years of operational and strategic leadership in the mental health, acute care hospital, and community care/service environments where she has been COO, EVP, VP, Chief of Nursing and Chief of Health Professions. Janice is part-time faculty in the Department of Health Sciences at McMaster University and she serves as a Board Member of Durham Nuclear Health Committee.
